Actually, Openoffice but also MS Word allow diffing. TortoiseSVN (probably most popular SVN client on MS Windows) automatically uses those in order to diff such documents already. > The only remaining problem I have in doing this is file management. Have you taken a look at Web-DAV? I'm not actually sure, but I believe that this is already similar to what you want. Other than that, there is no feature in SVN to treat a repository as a whole instead of a collection of independent files.
