Hi,
after our recent server upgrade to Debian 13, SOGo is throwing some
errors and other log messages where I'm not sure if the SOGo config
needs to be updated or if the new config scheme of Dovecot 2.4 is just
causing issues.
for errors, there are now messages like these:
Jan 30 08:17:06 sogod [780592]: [ERROR]
<0x0x563b7fefabb0[NGImap4Connection]> Error fetching 100 uids for url:
imap://username@localhost/INBOX/?tls=NO&tlsVerifyMode=default
Jan 30 09:57:41 sogod [780592]: [ERROR]
<0x0x563b7ff7f660[NGImap4Connection]> could not sort contents of URL:
imap://username@localhost/INBOX/?tls=NO&tlsVerifyMode=default
Also, there are these messages:
Jan 30 10:08:05 sogod [780592]: <0x0x7ff6ff046560[NSString]>
iconv_wrapper: Could not handle iconv encoding.
FromEncoding:UNKNOWN-8BIT to encoding:UTF-16LE
Jan 30 10:08:05 sogod [780592]: <0x0x7ff6ff8e4480[NGMimeType]>
+[NGMimeType stringEncodingForCharset:]: unknown charset 'unknown-8bit'
If I knew what emails the latter messages are referring to, I could at
least check if it happens for any relevant mail or just for badly
formatted spam, but that's not shown.
Best regards
Richard
