Hello Quentin, thanks for sharing this information, but actually I do have doubts that is the same issue or the root cause. One of my customers is using https://outlook.office365.com/mail/ and using the web UI or Outlook 2024 (Windows), but both pointing to their exchange service, I can create calendar entries that show up also in Outlook 2022 and v.v. Outlook online. Also I can create calendar items on Android using the Gmail app talking to SOGo and they show up on all Outlook versions I run (2019,2021,2024). Only if I create an entry with Outlook 2024 saving to SOGo (rather than Exchange) the entry is missing on the server. Also there is no crash on my systems.
To me it looks like Outlook 2024 does caldav slightly different than previous versions, and SOGo fails to translate that difference properly. If the error were a general bug in Outlook 2024 then I suspect it wouldn´t work in other scenarios either. Thanks, Joachim Von: [email protected] <[email protected]> Gesendet: Mittwoch, 3. Outlook silently crash before sending the sync request. Hello, somewhere I read, that the combination - Calendar with Outlook 2024 - SOGo and EAS doesnt work (in fact I cannot create or modify calendar entries with Outlook 2024) and one should use Outlook CalDav Synchronizer instead. However with lots of outlook installations this is cumbersome to install and configure. Is this considered a bug or feature, and what does it take to be resolved? Thanks, Joachim
