I ran:
dnf -y install libytnef
dnf -y install libytnef-devel
systemctl restart sogod.service
and still no change. Will keep digging but thank you as these are
certainly needed if they fixed other issues.... kind of alludes to my
thoughts that something package wise is missing?

Basically, the -lSOGo error is not the real error and you may have one before.
In the example above, it was the libynef missing.
