Hey users@,
I'm new to SOGo having stumbled across it as part of Mailcow, and it's mostly
great apart from one issue with ActiveSync - if I create a task on my iPhone
using the Reminders app, then
 * The reminder is not synced to the server, and does not appear in the
Calendar view * The sync connection on the phone is then seemingly irreparably
broken
 * Once the task is created and failing to sync, everything fails to sync. Mail
and Contacts which were previously working, now don't. The Mail app just shows
“Checking for mail” permanently, Contacts has no error message display but does
not sync changes anymore * To fix this, I have to remove the account (which
often fails several times causing the Settings app to simply show a spinner
dialogue saying “Deleting…” * Sometimes I have to delete+re-add the account
several times before the normal behaviour is restored
If I create a reminder in the SOGo web UI then this does seem to sync correctly
to the phone. But the other way around creates this reproducible (for me)
failure.
Some version information:
 * The phone is an iPhone 15 Pro with iOS 18.4.1. * The SOGo server is 5.12.0
 * Deployed as part of Mailcow 2025-03b * Debian 12 (arm64) on a Hetzner VPS *
Caddy reverse proxy
 * This is unavoidable currently because the server only has one IP and also
has to host public websites as well as Mailcow/SOGo * If we think that this
could fix the issue then I'm OK with adding a second public IP that I can
dedicate to Mailcow, but I think this actually costs more than the VPS does so
I'd rather not. Mail/contacts/calendar are syncing great using ActiveSync so
this doesn't feel like a Caddy issue to me * Docker 28.1.1 * Docker compose
2.35.1
Can anyone on the mailing list confirm this same behaviour? Is this a bug worth
reporting?
Thanks!
