The "typical" Certificate Authority does not issue S/MIME-Certificates which contains the intermediate certificates (or even the root certificate). So sadly the user has to import these on his local machine/local mail-client or to the SOGo-Server.

To build a S/MIME-Certificate which contains the full chain is a bit tricky.
