Please in future be a bit more verbose. What do you want to accomplish? 1) Use LDAP for authentication in SOGo? Yes, that does work perfectly. https://www.sogo.nu/files/docs/SOGoInstallationGuide.html#_authentication_using_ldap Even using groups works. 2) Change passwords via SOGo? Yes, that works.If you have the LDAP extended attributes for Password Policies, it even will use those attributes to determine, when you have to change your password, when activated in SOGo via option passwordPolicy.
3) Manage accounts altogether?
No, that is not the purpose of SOGo.
It is a web-mail-client with calendar and address book support.
4) Get a global address book from LDAP?
Yes, you have to add a SOGoUserSources entry with
isAddressBook = YES;
5) Use personal address books stored in LDAP?
This is limited.
SOGo assumes, that such a personal address book is stored below the
users DN entry in a subfolder named via SOGo option abOU, and the user
has write access to that.
Be sure to use SOGo option
