[SOGo] slow public address book

I want to sync my public SOGo address book with 9000 entries via CardDav to thunderbird.

This is very slow uses much resources.

Any hints how I can avoid this behavior?

The sync is very slow and tooks SOGo approximately 8 min to answer the request. The public address book is stored at an ldap server that is not reachable from the thunderbird client. When I look at the SOGo ldap debug output, I can see that SOGo first requests a list of all uids and then takes one additional request for each uid to get the attributes from the ldap server.
