Hello RTEMS Community, Maybe you or someone you know has done something interesting with RTEMS, or another OS for embedded systems, that you would like to write 6 pages about? See below for information about the EWiLi Embedded Operating Systems workshop: abstracts are due July 20, and full papers are due July 27.
As part of the *Embedded System Week 2019* <https://www.esweek.org/> we are pleased to announce *The 9th Embedded Operating Systems Workshop (EWiLi 2019)* <https://sites.google.com/view/ewili2019/>, which will be held in *New York, NY, USA* on: *17th October 2019* EWiLi, the Embedded Operating Systems Workshop, aims at presenting state-of-the-art research, experimentation, significant and original realizations that focus on the design and implementation of embedded operating systems in both academic and industrial worlds. Although originally focusing on embedded Linux, the "Embed With Linux" (EWiLi) workshop has a broader scope that evolved to consider embedded operating systems in general. Authors are invited to submit contributions that include but are not limited to the following topics, and should all consider embedded operating systems: * Security * Privacy * Safety * Fault-Tolerance * Multicore and Manycore * Scalability (Nano and Exa) * Reconfigurable Architectures * Software Verification, Validation, and Qualification * Virtualization and Workload Consolidation * Multimedia Streaming * Data Analytics * Cyber-Physical Systems * Internet-of-Things * Embedded Software Engineering and Tool Chains * Model-Based Systems Engineering * Data Management and Memory Hierarchy Optimization * Real-Time Scheduling and Temporal Performance * File Systems, Storage, and I/O * Debugging and Profiling * Energy and Power Optimization * Performance Evaluation, Tradeoffs, and Optimization * Embedded Operating Systems Education * Industrial Case Studies *Important Deadlines* Submission of abstracts: 20th July 2019 Submission of full papers (max. 6 pages): 27th July 2019 Issuance of notification of acceptance: 26th August 2019 Registration & camera-ready submission: 9th September 2019 Call for Papers: https://sites.google.com/view/ewili2019/cfp-important-dates Submission link: https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=ewili2019 Full papers should not exceed 6 pages in ACM SIG format (see http://sigbed.seas.upenn.edu/submit.html) Accepted full papers will be published in the ACM SIGBED Review (ISSN: 1551-3688) Special Interest Group on Embedded Systems.
