There are a lot of important changes between 4.11 to the 5.1. Too many to list here however you can review the release notes: https://devel.rtems.org/wiki/Release/5/5.1 > E.g. https://devel.rtems.org/ticket/3243 which is crucial for the EPICS > project. > Will there be a new release available soon? The Wiki's front page has a table of releases and in that table there is a link to the 5.1 milestone: https://devel.rtems.org/milestone/5.1 I encourage _all_ users to keep an eye on the table and the 5.1 milestone. Please review the tickets, submit patches or reach out to the core developer team with paid support to get tickets fixed. We need to lower the number of new and in progress tickets before we can release. The release needs to wait until I have created the 4.10.3 release which I am starting to work on now then I need to release 4.11.4. Once I have completed this I can start the 5.1 release procedure infrastructure so candidates can be made. It reiterate the point about ticket management, I have worked through the tickets on the 4.10 and 4.11 branches and those branch releases happen when the new and in progress ticket count is 0. I would like the 5 branch to be in a similar state. Chris _______________________________________________ users mailing list users@rtems.org http://lists.rtems.org/mailman/listinfo/users
