I updated the tool chain (RSB) to use the latest Newlib snapshot with a
change of time_t to 64-bit (year 2038 problem) and a patch to add
self-contained POSIX synchronization objects:

This tool chain is ABI incompatible to all previous tool chains.
Everything must be re-compiled, otherwise subtle bugs may occur due to
structure layout mismatches (time_t changed from 32-bit to 64-bit on
most targets).
