Hello,

Using OpenOffice 4.1.12 on a new Windows 11 PC. I had running on my Thunderbird mail client, my FireFox browser and OpenOffice adding data to a spreadsheet.

Stepped away from my PC and when I returned Thunderbird, FireFox and OpenOffice were not running, Windows 11 was. Restarted Thunderbird, FireFox and OpenOffice. OpenOffice attempted to recover the spreadsheet. Task Manager showed that OpenOffice was Not Responding.

OpenOffice runs but I cannot create new text or spreadsheet documents. Again Task Manager shows that OpenOffice is in a Not Responding state. It appears that something is putting OpenOffice in the Not Responding state. I have restarted Windows 11 but OpenOffice opens in a Not Responding state.

I have 3/4 different backups so I am not concerned about loosing the spreadsheet data.

How do I get OpenOffice in a state that I can create new text and spreadsheet documents.

Thanks.
