Hi John, Is most necessary to deliver more details about your dead computer's Operating System version and the account if it has a backup on the cloud e.g. One Drive or Google Drive. If the Hard disk is not damaged, you may restore the needed data in any service workshop to Pendrive (this is a small cost) and after download these on your new computer. Good luck.
