Thanks for that Neil, it made me look a bit harder to see what was really going on.
Yes, my NB29 was using JDK17, and I couldn't select my platform versions because I didn't have JMods loaded. Having loaded those, I can select JDK25, and allow snap to update to NB30 gives a properly running version.
