At about 2:10 in the video, you explained a workaround: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J6lOQS2rWK0&t=130 Roughly, the workaround is to configure NetBeans to use plain Chrome. Then you manually click the "debug" button from the extension. The video explains this very well and it works for me. Thank you!
