Same result with: mvn -U archetype:generate -DarchetypeGroupId=org.grails -DarchetypeArtifactId=grails-maven-archetype -DarchetypeVersion=1.0-SNAPSHOT -DarchetypeRepository=http://snapshots.repository.codehaus.org -DgroupId=com.summitbid -DartifactId=TestGailsArchetype
However, I'm suspecting that my shiny new archiva repos may not be configured correctly, because I don't see any SNAPSHOT type jars in there. I think SNAPSHOT jars go in the snapshot repos rather then the internal, and therefore may not be getting downloaded and installed correctly... When I say "shiny new" I really mean, I don't fully understand how it's supposed to work yet. I'll do some more work on this and let you know how it works out.
