I have to stick with wagon-ssh 1.0-beta-2 instead of 1.0-beta-4 because there is an incompatibility with maven 2.0.9. (see http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/WAGON-228 ). The beta-2, however, is suffering from random errors on execution, e.g. message too long, and I hope that those are fixed in a newer version.... In the bug above, Brett Porter wrote on 2008-07-17: "However, 2.0.10 that bundles the new version is being prepared for release now[..]" so I'm wondering when it will be released.
