No good. I moved the <plugin> element for maven-war-plugin in the parent
pom from the
<build>
<plugins>
into a new
<build>
<pluginManagement>
<plugins>
element. And then added
<plugin>
<groupId>org.apache.maven.plugins</groupId>
<artifactId>maven-war-plugin</artifactId>
</plugin>
under the [already existing] <build> element in the dependent pom file.
I'm seeing the same error.
