When I do a mvn site or mvn clean install site, I find that the version given in the parent POM is not getting inherited to the child poms and it results in error as below. If I hardcode the parent POM's version in all the child POMs, the site generation goes fine. I'm using maven-2.0.8. Would like to know whether this problem is also associated to some other bug or if not so how this issue can be resolved?
