I'd like to piggy back on to this discussion. All our production builds are done in a controlled environment. Different projects use make, ant, maven1, maven2, and custom scripts. We would like, when a build is done, for the final artifacts to end up in a dumb file location on the build box. Final artifacts tend to be installers, usually not jar files. The guys doing the build don't really care about maven or repositories, they just want to start the build, and then get the results.
So my question is: how to make maven1 and maven2 do an extra copy into a directory? Thanks, C. The more information you provide, the better the response will be. Generally, I would suggest that you set up something like Archiva and use "mvn deploy" to copy the file into Archiva.
