Since the Cobertura plugin does not properly execute 'clean' by default,
add the following declaration in <build> to bind its 'clean' goal:

<groupId>org.codehaus.mojo</groupId>
<artifactId>cobertura-maven-plugin</artifactId>
<executions>
<execution>
<goals>
<goal>clean</goal>
</goals>
</execution>
</executions>
</plugin>
