Hi there, I was wondering what is the current state of the archetypes that can be used in the out of box experience for maven? I have tried the following archetypes:
maven-achetype-j2ee-simple maven-archetype-simple but they had problems being executed. I noticed that the current releases of the archetypes found at ibiblio are only at an alpha stage. I am guessing that the use of the archetype is here to stay even through the current states have not progressed to an official release. http://www.ibiblio.org/maven2/org/apache/maven/archetypes/ Is there a road map for archetypes that need to be created? Who are the main players that are working on these project templates? I would like to get envolved, any thoughts? Many thanks Trent
