In my pom, I call those:
      <id>Maven.Snapshots</id>
      <name>Maven Snapshots Repository</name>
      <url>http://snapshots.maven.codehaus.org/maven2/</url>

      <id>apache.snapshots</id>
      <name>Apache Development Repository</name>
      <url>http://cvs.apache.org/maven-snapshot-repository</url>

I don't honestly know what the difference is. Add both to your pom. ;-)
