As I said previously, you need to logon manually to the cvs server with the cvs executable. The current maven plugin doesn't handle the logon part :-( This is why your password isn't used. You have to logon to the cvs server only the first time. It's automatically stored in your local .cvspass file. After that you don't have to logon.
