Hello,
I've just trying to migrate my project to maven2.
It is a shared component, so I have to setup a well designed POM to make
transitive dependencies works as expected.
It defines optional classes to be use with other librairies, that I've
marked in POM as <optional>true</optional>
If I do this, mvn install doesn't download those jars and compilation fails.
If I don't mark them as optional, maven2 downloads librairies from repo
and all is ok, but resulting POM isn't what I expected.
What's wrong ?
