http://xdoclet.codehaus.org/Maven2+plugin http://mojo.codehaus.org/hibernatedoclet-maven-plugin/ These two should give you a broad overview of Maven2 + XDoclet2 + Hibernate. No need to read more when you need to manage the configuration and move on. I use the first approach and despite some minor issues, it works fine.
