Yeah, pretty much. Each jar you need that is not in ibibilio should be added to your shared repository.
You use deploy:deploy-file. Some details are in this discussion: http://www.nabble.com/-ANN-Maven-Install-and-Deploy-Plugins-%28v2.1%29-released-t900023.html#a2352563 To the list as a whole: Documentation on this needs to be improved. http://maven.apache.org/guides/introduction/introduction-to-repositories.html has missing sections. How to run deploy:deploy-file needs to sit alongside this: http://maven.apache.org/guides/mini/guide-installing-3rd-party-jars.html either as part of that document, or another one just like it, but for deploying.
