You can try as a workaround to replace all maven-*.jar in apps/continuum/lib by your jars in your
M2_HOME. What is your maven version?

Continuum doesn't support this feature. Please file an issue.
I'm not sure Continuum supports profiles define in pom or in settings.xml. Can
you try it?
