Highlights: * get rid of ugly CVE from plexus-utils (by upgrading to 3.6.1) * make Maven color console output work on Java 26+ (by upgrading to jansi 2.4.3) And with the 3.9.15 release, Maven 3.9.x is to be put into "bugfix only" mode, no new features. Reason for that above, is a very very soon coming Maven 3.10.x line: https://github.com/apache/maven/milestone/126 The main focus of Maven 3.10.x is integrating Resolver 2.x (and offering all the good stuff it has), while remaining still "just Maven 3"). Of course, it carries other improvements as well, but ultimately, we want to make the Resolver 1.x line (used by Maven 3.9 and older) EOLd. This will make Maven 3.10.x and Maven 4 "aligned" on Resolver 2.x. Maven 3.10.x snapshots are available from here: https://repository.apache.org/content/groups/snapshots/org/apache/maven/apache-maven/3.10.0-SNAPSHOT/ (try to choose "newest" by date) The dev branch is here https://github.com/apache/maven/tree/maven-3.10.x Maven 3.10.x will be followed by the mvnd 1.1.x line as well (and mvnd 2.x line will follow maven 4.x).
