I had a construct like this before
<item name="foo1">
<item name="bar1" href=".."/>
<item name="bar2" href=".."/>
<item name="bar3" href=".."/>
</item>
<item name="foo2">
<item name="baz1" href=".."/>
<item name="baz2" href=".."/>
<item name="baz3" href=".."/>
</item>
After adding 'href="#"' to every submenu item it works again.
Mhh!
