Really I would like to see better concrete examples and explanations of how to use each goal. This seems to be somewhat sparse still. In the past, personally I had trouble getting the hbm2cfg and hbm2java goals to work together, I was generating my mappings and entities from the existing database Schema and it took a lot of work, including needing a custom ReverseEnginneringStrategy. I think real world practical examples are the key here...
