I have recently been trimming 'unnecessary' <scm/> elements out of poms. That is, if the current project is just sitting under it's parent.
I'm now wishing that one of the m-p-i-r reports would report the scm locations of the parents. In the case at hand, project 'a' has a parent 'b' that has no explicit scm, because it inherits it from its parent (c), and I wish that the svn location of both b and c was reported somewhere in the site for 'a'.
