Hi Kalpak, Thanks for your reply, actually I would want to perform some additional ant tasks, but instead of calling an additional goal as "antrun:run" I would want to use normal "mvn clean install". When I call this "mvn install" I would expect to run the ant task. Can you please help? Can you please provide an example for doing this?

So you could simply place your properties file under src/main/resources and it will automatically get embedded in the jar file. Is this what you are looking at?
