Thanks, Brett. Like I've said before, I'm still learning my way around cvs.
Two things: 1. Vincent made a zip of rc3 for me which I plan to try today. 2. There was another consistent error on the test:test goal, which I got around by setting maven.test.skip=true. I'm not sure if this error is related to the one below.
