Thanks! This sure seems buried for something that is the "primary mechanism used to produce the Maven-generated documentation".

PS: Yes, Xdoc is Apache/Jakarta. It is definitely not the "xDoc" conversion tool (a tool that supports conversion from legacy formats, and runs on Microsoft platforms).

Can someone point me to some documentation on xdocs? According to http://maven.apache.org/reference/dirlayout.html
there is documentation available on http://jakarta.apache.org/site/jakarta-site2.html, however this just seems to mention
xdocs in the context of where they are kept within the directory structure. I'm looking for something that details the elements
within a proper xdoc file. Also, is xdocs Microsoft's xdocs or is this a Jakarta creation? Thanks.
