Hi guys.
I've just lost _scrolling_ with my keyboard's middle button - lost electricity
twice in succession, weird cause it would be, but can't thing of anything else.
Although there is nothing wrong physically with the key/button - still can paste with it, also, I
have a few of these "Lenovo ThinkPad Compact Keyboard with TrackPoint" - scrolling (also
zooming in/out) is no longer "available"
With Gnome's tweaks, "Scrolling Method' I have had to "Default" but also now tried
"On Buttong Down" - to no avail.
all thoughts & suggestion much appreciated - on how to "fix" it back.
many thanks, L.
If you are using Fedora 42, and when you type
$ rpm -q libinput
and if it returns
libinput-1.28.901-1.fc42.x86_64
then this is almost likely the cause which many people are
reporting similar issues:
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2379768
(and I've hit the same issue)
Try upcoming libinput-1.28.901-2.fc42.x86_64 which is working
for me:
