FWIW, the akmods utility gained the ability to sign modules a few years ago, around Fedora 36. The documentation for this is in README.secureboot within the package. It can also be viewed in the Fedora package repository: https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/akmods/raw/rawhide/f/README.secureboot -- Todd
