With the terminal you should be able to find details using
`journalctl`. It would
be very useful to know if the issue is caused by something crashing or
by some
unwanted switch to a power saving mode.
I've used pkill -u "user" to drop back to the display-manager but
really
want to get to the session as operable or to have it never go into
stasis.
In XFCE found a setting I didn't see in LXDE that set suspend to never.
