As Todd mentioned, the bad reactions to the mRNA vaccines are a lot more common than generally acknowledged by the health authorities. You were unfortunate, as serious complications *are* statistically rare, about 1 per 10,000 doses, and fortunate, as deaths are also statistically rare, but about 1 per 100,000 doses. For those at serious risk of death from covid19, good odds, but for those who have survived infection, and thus have better and longer lasting immunity than the vaccine confers, an unnecessary risk.
