[users@httpd] Cannot redirect or rewrite from http to https.

Hello,
 
I am using a httpd server to provide access to a flex app deployed on tomcat. 
The application must be accessed via https and I have managed to do this, 
however the application remains available over http. I have tried all sorts of 
different approaches but simply cannot rediect from http to https. 
 
If you have a solution that actually works I'd love to hear from you.
