have you tried XBitHack On in an htaccess file?

As http://httpd.apache.org/docs/1.3/mod/mod_include.html#xbithack says :
XBitHack On:
"Any file that has the user-execute bit set will be treated as a
server-parsed html document."

What relation does it have to my problem?
