Hi,
I am also new to this.
Can you check the following rule
RewriteEngine On
RewriteRule ^/(.*) http://host/script.php?p=$1
I think, what ever is there after the hostname will be $1
for ex:
http://abcd.com/pets
$1 will be pets.
I am also looking at URL rewriting.
Please check that and let me know the result.
Thanks,
Om.

Hi,
Can anyone help me to create, or explain how to get around with rewrite
rules, please. The thing to do is:
in: http://host/dir/file
out: http://host/script.php?p=/dir/file
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ /script.php?p=$1
