How to deploy a windows development env to create application to access hdfs on linux?

Hi all
I've deployed hadoop cluster on linux and now I want to create application on 
windows to access hdfs on linux but don't know how to!
Who can give me any example about how to deploy hadoop development environment 
under Windows?
