Thanks for your response. According to the documentation, the only library dependencies the Mail task requires are mail.jar and activation.jar. The latest versions of these are in my $ANT_HOME$/lib. There is nothing to say that library dependencies have changed since Ant v1.6.2. I am still at a loss.
