When playing a video using xbmc (the system was previously playing
videos fine), the screen went blank. The sound was still playing,
though. Most keypresses were doing nothing, so I hit ctrl-alt-f1, and
then from the command line there, I killed xbmc. When I went back to
ctlr-alt-f7, the video was still black/blank. I ended up having to
reboot to fix the problem. There were no errors listed in the logs at
the time the incident took place.
