I'm going to move this to the gnome-settings-daemon package. We've now got the input-hotplug events necessary to make this happen, and gnome- settings-daemon currently handles these by setting up the monitor as it was last set.
Detecting whether the plugged monitor is a projector, and changing the behaviour based on that determination, is a policy issue which is better implemented above the kernel level. ** Package changed: xorg-server (Ubuntu) => gnome-settings-daemon (Ubuntu) -- [Needs KMS] Automatically enable mirroring for projectors https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/359147 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xorg-server in ubuntu. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
