When installing Lucid on a HP 8440p with Wubi I get a black screen when
booting on Lucid.
I manage to boot without black screen using the recovery linux kernel in
the kernel version list, then I edit the command line to remove "splash
quiet" and replace with "nomodeset"
Then I use the safe mode to launch X and I try several things like
changing my generated xorg.conf to use vesa or intel and installing
xordedger drivers...
Any help would be appreciated.
