Mmm... Why is this bug dubbed as a dupe of 563023? That thread gives
same message from the gnome-appearance-properties as the issue I have
but it has no mention of a conflict with Xinerama or multiple monitors
and actually has proposed resolutions (install missing compiz-gnome)
that did not apply in my case. Should this be de-duped?
