Same for me (after upgrading to 10.04 from 9.10). Two graphics cards:
02:00.0 VGA compatible controller: nVidia Corporation C77 [GeForce 8200]

03:00.0 VGA compatible controller: nVidia Corporation G73 [GeForce 7300 GT]

and everything works ok on:

2010 i686 GNU/Linux
but not on 2.6.32.22-generic (freeze during boot). I'm using nvidia
drivers from ubuntu, version: 195.36.15
