I still have this bug in Lucid with version 195.36.08-0ubuntu2 installed. Hue seems messed up even time Totem loads a new video. typing "nvidia-settings --assign=XVideoTextureHue=0" while any video is playing fixes the issue until a new video is loaded. I can also start the nvidia-control panel and move the Hue slider and that fixes the issue as well.
